Boom2 Remote issues

Has anyone figured this out yet? Both of my iOS devices (iPhone6 & iPad Air2) give me the message:
No device found...Update Boom2 on your Mac

I've turned WiFi on and off. Rebooted both iOS devices. Rebooted the Macbook Pro. Nuthin. Nada.

Can anyone offer some help, please?

    Hey,

    We suggest you to try below steps and check if it helps:

    1. Make sure Boom Remote is ON in Mac (refer the attached screenshot)
    2. iOS device and Mac are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
    3. Turn off/on Wi-Fi on both devices and try to pair again
    4. Quit and relaunch both Mac and iOS app and check if it helps.
    5. Make sure both iOS and Mac app are up to date. The latest version available is Boom 2 Remote v1.1 and Boom 2 Mac app is v1.2.1



  • I performed all of the suggested methods. Boom2 Remote still does not work. These are all new products that I am using. All help is appreciated.

  • @KarthikNayak3 , I can't connect, Tried as you suggested, Still no luck. Forwarding my Skype ID to your mail mentioned. Hope you guys are fast enough to fix this bug.

  • I am also having similar issues . Followed all the above steps without success. Please help I really enjoy your product
  • Could this be because of the recent upgrades? I just upgraded to version 1.2 of the remote app, but my version of Boom 2 is 1.2.1 and not 1.3 (because I bought it on the Mac App store and the 1.3 update isn't available there yet). Now I can't connect with the remote app from any of my devices (2 iPads and an iPhone) even though they worked perfectly before the remote app was upgraded.

    i have the same issue here. would you please help me. it happen after i update boom remote in both my iOS devises.
