Unable to install Boom Audio Component

Greetings,

I have bought Boom, downloaded Boom Audio Component, I unzip the file to retrieve the .pkg file and when I click on it I get the following error message:

Não foi possível concluir a operação. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller, erro -1.)
Não foi possível abrir "BoomDevice.pkg".

That translated into English means:

It was not possible to conclude operation
It was not possible to open "BoomDevice.pkg".

I am aware that there are compatibility issues with AirPlay, but I don't have that on.

Please advise.

Regarding your query, could you please try downloading the Boom audio component in other browser and check if it helps.

If you still have the same issue, then please contact our Support Team, they will provide you with the audio component via email.

Note :

In order to get the Boom volume slider in the menu bar , you need to download the audio component within the app.
The zip audio component file will be saved in downloads and once you double click on the zip file it will open up as a pkg file to install.

@admin Your reply is completely unrelated to my query. I had no problems in downloading the Audio Component. That's not the issue. The issue is that when I tried to install the Audio Component it just gives me the error message mentioned in my previous post and not installing it at all. Please either address my query and not give an unrelated answer or at least let me know how I can contact your Support Team.

I am having a similar problem regarding the Boom Audio Component. I download the "BoomDevice.pkg" zip file, extract it using Zipeg, but then am unable to install the component in order to run Boom. It gives me this error message: "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)" I wasn't sure if this is a script error or what. Please let me know how to resolve the issue at your earliest convenience. Thanks in advance!
