EULA Prompt at Every Login

edited March 2011 in Voila Discussions
Viola is set up to run at each login. However, even though I accepted the EULA, I get a prompt to accept the EULA at each and every login/restart event (each time Viola is started). This is beyond annoying - it is unacceptable. How can this issue be resolved?

  • Could you tell us where did you buy your copy of Voila from?
  • MacUpdate Promo 2010 Fall Bundle
  • Could you tell us if the user account that you have is an administrator account or a standard account? You can check this in the System Preferences=>Accounts

Once this is done, please check if the logged-in user has permissions to the Voila application. To do this, select the application icon and then click on More Info or Press Cmd + I.

If the currently logged-in user does not have read/write privileges to the build, click on the + button in the More Info window and then Add the user to the list. Then provide read/write access to that user. Hope this helped.
  • I am also having this issue. I did the recommended action as described above but still I get the EULA dialogue box everytime I open Voila.

Could you also try the following?

    1) Right click on the Voila icon in the Applications folder and select 'Show Package Contents'

    2) Once done, please check if the logged-in user has permissions to the Contents. To do this, select the Contents folder and then click on More Info or Press Cmd + I.

    3) If the currently logged-in user does not have read/write privileges to the build, click on the + button in the More Info window and then Add the user to the list. Then provide read/write access to that user.

    4) Next, in the same window, click on the Settings option. If the items are disabled, hit the unlock button to make the necessary changes. Once done, select the option, 'Apply to enclosed items'

    Hope this helped.
