Mail: Cannot Share Image Bug

edited October 2010 in Voila Discussions
I started with Viola 2 and this issue has followed me into Viola 3. I didn't bother to seek a resolution before because I wasn't using Viola all that much. I'm finding more need to use it these days so not being able to directly email an image is now becoming a real pain my workflow.

When I click on the Mail icon in the upper right corner, I get this message:

Cannot Share Image:

Currently Mail is not installed on this system. Please install Mail and configure the user account. Or choose a different client in Preferences.

Mac OS X Mail is most certainly installed on my system. I also have Entourage (which I don't use). If I change my Mail program to Entourage in the preferences, the mail button works correctly and launches Entourage. If I change it back to Mail, I get the error message again.

Any ideas what's going on here?

  • Hi

Can you please let us know your current OS version?

    Thanks
  • My OS is 10.6.4. It's been a problem for as long as I can remember so it may have been an issue back at 10.5.x.
