Voila and 2010 Macbook Pro

edited September 2010 in Voila Discussions
Voila is the one of the most frequenlty used applications installed in my macbook pro 17' and I absolutely love this application.

But the problem is that with 2010 Macbook Pro 17'(or same goes to 2010 15' macbook pro), it always activates nVidia 330M GT graphic chipset so battery drains much quickly. It is okay if I connect a power adaptor to my macbook pro, but if I'm on a battery, I have to quit the application so that the 330M GT is deactivated and let macbook pro use the intel graphic chipset. I use 'Launch Voila on Login' option in the preference but have to quit whenever I have to trip with the macbook. I guess Voila uses some part of the graphic framework in OSX, which activates graphic chipset switching. Voila's competitor, but with much lesser features, Little Snapper, had the same problem but the developer avoids this problem by separating the 'capture helper' from the main application. So unless I run the main program, but just capture the screen or window, it does not activate nVidia graphic chipset.

Well, maybe I'm asking too much, but would like to see some workout for this issue so that I do not have to quit the application to save my battery.

Thanks and sorry for the bad English writing. It's not my tongue language.
