Boom 2 and Siri

edited November 2016 in Boom Discussions

I've been using Boom 2 for quite some time and generally love it, but since upgrading to macOS Sierra I've noticed that with Boom 2 turned on, Siri tends to recognize my speech significantly worse.

I suspect that has something to do with noise cancellation. I'm on iMac 27" Late 2012.

Recently, probably with the current update, you introduced a new feature that allows Boom 2 to automatically suspend itself while FaceTime app is active. Can you please include Siri in that list as well, or better yet, implement a custom "stop list" so that the user can control when Boom 2 should boomin' and when it shouldn't? I'm sure a lot of users would appreciate such a feature.

Thank you.
