I would like to record a part of my screen (iBooks) while a Google Hangout is in progress and capture both the input audio (when I'm talking) and the output audio of the hangout (when other people are talking). I have installed CaptoDevice, but when I set CaptoDevice as the output device in hangouts, then I can't hear what anyone is saying. Is there a way to make this work?

Hangouts make use of default speakers for both Microphone and Speaker recording, hence it is not required to change the input/output settings. Even if you do, it should work fine, please ensure that you change the settings only once the recording starts.
