Voila Won't Stop and Save

After making a recording about 20 min. long, I click on Stop and Save Recording and nothing happens.  The recording is paused, but it will not stop and save.  I've done this successfully many time, and this is a first time this has happened.  Any suggestions?  I don't want to lose what I've recorded.

Hi Crispcrunchgirl,

If you are able to see the file in Voila library, then you can retrieve the same.

Voila library contains all the data which you worked in Voila until now. To view the contents, you can do a right click (Control click) on Voila library and click on "Show Package Contents”.

- Do a right click on Voila library. Go to 'Show Package Contents'.

- Go to videos->Select file->Right click->Show Package Contents

- Select 'Original', you will find the file inside that folder

To check library path, go to Voila preferences. Please refer screenshot below:

I have the same problem. Now I have .voila video from the library described, but when I want to open/import it in Voila, the application would quit by itself abnormally. Is there any other way I can retrieve/convert the .voila file to .mp4 file?
