I have a MacMini and I use Kodi as a media center.
Since I upgraded my system to El Capitan I have this problem of "hiccups" when playing movies. By hiccups I mean that the sound seems to freeze for a tenth of a second or so every five to ten seconds. Really annoying.
The problem doesn't happen when playing music, nor when I play a movie using for example VLC. If I stop Boom then Kodi plays the movie sound without the hiccups so clearly this could be an incompatibility between Boom and Kodi.
I understand that the problem could be on Kodi's side so I'm contacting them too just in case.
