Sound fading in and out from loud to quiet and back as beat hits

Having an issue w/Boom 2 on Mac (El Cap) where the sound gets louder and quieter on its own in perfect sync with when the beat drops.

It is very pronounced in hip-hip music especially...

How can I get Boom to output sound at a consistent level without getting noticeably louder or quieter depending upon the track's position in relation to the beat of the music?

It's very distracting and makes the product useless.

Hey,

Could you please let us know which system are you using and OS X installed on it? Could you please let us know the app version used by you?

Also, do check with different media players and let us know whether the issue is consistent. 

If you could provide us with a sequence to regenerate the issue, that would be great.

At the same time, please keep your Console app open, do check for Boom logs when the issue reappears and send it to us.
