Boom 2 audio skipping and repeating loop

Boom 2 on new Macbook. Audio tracks often skip and loop like a broken record. Sometimes comes right but usually force quit required to fix
Audio on video clips will loop and sometimes play 2 pieces of audio together. Never fixes itself. Sometimes pausing the clip will correct but usually have to reload clip and force quit boom. Unusable currently. how can I fix it?

I'm seeing exactly the same problems here. 2014 iMac running El Cap. Pausing any audio completely until the looping stops, then re-starting the audio seems to correct things, but the issue will reoccur repeatedly and randomly.

I'm having the exact same issue! Hard to recommend some software that can't even enhance audio for 30 minutes without fucking up...
