Boom Remote: "Connection Declined" (OSX El Capitan, iOS)

Hey there,

I am trying to pair the Boom Remote with Boom 2, but the remote application keeps saying "connection declined." I have both applications updated, as well as both OS. I am on the same wifi connection for both devices and AirDrop is working correctly. I am using an iPhone 6 and MacBook Pro Retina, early 2015. 

What do I need to do to fix this issue?

    Hello,

    According to what you've written, you shouldn't be facing any problems. Could you please make sure that the Boom Remote option is enabled in the settings pane of Boom 2 on your Mac? This is generally the case.
