Boom 1 and el capitan -> mac does not boot

Hi there,

I installed El Capitan and then the extension of boom 1 again and performed a restart.
Unfortunately my iMac is now stuck on the grey apple boot screen with an empty progress bar that does not fill up at all.
A force reboot brings me to the same screen.
Can you help me?

This is a weird case and we haven't heard anything similar from any other user on El Capitan. You may have to refer to resources online that help reinstall El Capitan in a situation such as yours.
