Just got a new iMac and redownloaded Boom to the new computer. Tried to install the Boom Audio Component but receive this error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.). What to do next? Thanks!
Regarding your query, apologies for the inconvenience. It seems that you have purchased Boom via Mac App Store, in order to get the Boom volume slider in the menu bar , you need to download the audio component within the app. The zip audio component file will be saved in downloads and once you double click on the zip file it will open up as a pkg file to install.
I've already done this part too and I get the same error. I've installed it on a few computers (I moved around a lot, lol) and never had a problem. This is the first time I've encountered this problem.
