Simple question, i have 1.6 installed, no problems. It's just the update black box that keeps popping up telling me to update to 1.7 is extremely annoying. Is there any way to disable this? i may even stop using boom if i cannot disable this as it is just that annoying.

Regarding your query, there is a "Check for Updates Automatically" button within the app. You can disable the same and turn off the alerts that notify of new versions.
But if you are a trial user, then you will receive pop-ups to purchase Boom.
