OK, I've used Voila on our iMac (bought fall 2011) OK; BUT NOW, running OS X 10.8.2 and Voila version 3.3, when I just want a simple capture of the screen area of a Safari page, I get an error window popping up, saying "Cannot Save Data - Edited Images Cannot be Saved."
I click the OK button in the error window, and Voila will show the image so that I can print it, but once my session is over and Voila closes, none of the images are saved - ie "available," and the image in the Voila screen says FILE CORRUPT!
did not have this issue before, and cannot tell you whether it happened when we upgraded our OS or the Voila.
I just use the Shift command 4 keys and voila - an error window.
I did go thru' all the faq's and the forum discussions back two years, but haven't seen this particular issue. Appreciate any solutions.

Regarding your query, you get the error message 'File Corrupt' if your data base is corrupt. If there is any sequence to regenerate the error message "Cannot Save Data - Edited Images Cannot be Saved", please do send it across to us.
As for troubleshooting, could you please delete Voila library and create a new one and check whether it helps. If necessary, please back up the data present in Voila library.
To check library path, go to Voila preferences (please refer screenshot below).
After launching Voila do a screen capture and a new library will be created.
Voila library contains all the data which you worked in Voila until now. To view the contents, you can do a right click on Voila library and click on "Show Package Contents".
If you wish to have all the previously captured Voila captures in new library then please do a right click on the old Voila library and click on Package contents>Images/Videos select all and drag and drop them into Voila tray.
