I have a MacBook Pro 2.8 i7, 8 GB RAM, OS 10.7.3. I downloaded and installed Boom. When I try to start it, nothing happens. There is no icon on the toolbar. When I tried to re-install Boom, it said it was already running. However, when I went to force quit, it isn't listed. Any ideas would be appreciated. Yes, I have rebooted. Thanks!

Could you please write to our Support Team, they will provide you with Uninstall script to remove Boom completely from your system. Next, you can install a fresh copy and check whether it helps.
Or you can follow the comments from Admin on the below link, and remove Boom manually.

Note : Please make sure to have only one copy of Boom in your system, also please make sure that you install Boom app in Application folder itself and not in any sub-folders.
I went to support and got the uninstall script, removed everything, then re-installed. I still have the same issue. The app will not start. There was supposed to be a .kext file in the Extensions folder but it isn't there. Maybe it isn't installing properly. The only other sound related program I have is Soundflower (maybe a conflict?) I'd really like to get this working, but I'm not an IT guy.
Thanks,
Lou

I downloaded Boom from the App Store a while back and it worked perfectly but I tried to access the app today and it will not open. I updated the app and it won't open, I cleared up my menu bar and it still won't open. What can I do to get it to work?
Our Support Team has already go in touch with you.
Are you able to launch Boom? Could you please let us know whether you see Boom window or the volume slider?
Please make sure that you have only one copy of Boom in your system.
