I'm just getting familiar with Voila and have some questions about capturing windows, which I've been capturing as objects. First, how do I capture Finder windows in their active state? My captures only get the windows in their inactive state, i.e., menu bar dimmed, "traffic light" buttons grayed out. Second, the captured windows appear in the workbench with a soft shadow, which also shows up when I paste the captured window into an application such as Pages. How can I disable the shadow so I have clean edges? Adjusting the bounding box in the workbench does not do a good job of this. Many thanks.
Comments
Regarding your query, to capture the windows in active state, please make sure to select the Finder window and then make use of the Voila shortcut keys (in Voila preference under Hot Keys) or select the preferred capture via Voila icon in menu bar.
While performing an object capture, shadow is captured. You can do a selection capture where shadow will not be captured. We will consider this suggestion as a feature request. Consider your valuable suggestions noted.
