UPDATE: Managed to get it working, had to go into Sound preferences manually, switch both input and output to VoilaDevice and THEN start the game. Can't hear sound whilst recording but can hear it on playback.
We tried recording few games via twitch stream and everything seems to work fine. Could you please provide us with a sequence to regenerate the issue? Please do notice the switching of VoilaDevice is your System Sound Preferences Output. Basically when the recording starts, active sound output device should switch to VoilaDevice. If it does not, you can try selecting the same manually and check if it helps. (Make sure 'Record Computer Audio' is enabled)
OSX 10.10.3. Just upgraded to Voila 3.8.4. In the earlier version of Voila it recorded the sound always. The only way now is to record with CPU sound ON and record from CPU audio. Voila is outstanding but I recommend to write a clear help for the sound with pictures. I do not want to have CPU sound ON while recording.
ShreyasKuthu, I did everything that you recommended in your May 4 reply to ralphstrauch, and it still did not work. I am on a Mac, running 10.10.x, using MS Lync 14.0.11, and using Voila 3.8.4. I am also using a Plantronics C720 USB Headset that I can both hear and speak with no problems. In Lync I can see the audio levels going up and down when I speak. BUT, there is no audio level for sound coming through the headset when others are speaking. NO, I don't want to use the internal speakers. I am required to use the headset (REQUIRED). I even did as you instructed in your May 4 posting, and the audio in the headset went dead, and I have to use analog headphones to hear anything -- UNACCEPTABLE -- defeating the whole purpose of having integrated headphones and using USB.
Come on folks! This cannot be a THAT hard. There must be a way for me to get Voila to record audio that goes with the video when I'm on Lync/Skype.
PLEASE HELP !
I hate to say this, but if you are unable to resolve this Voila is not a whole lot of use to me as most of my work is done via MS Lync (Mac)
I am wondering when i record audio from the computer and the built in microphone, is there a way to make the computer audio not so loud so i can hear my voice instead of the blaring computer audio?
If you want to record both audio inputs simultaneously, we suggest you make use of a headset to record your voice in order to avoid echoes. You can refer the below video for more info on recording option in Voila.

I don;t want to record computer sound. I want to record voiceover. My System prefs are set to use my USB headset and o=microphone.
