I bought BOOM some months back, running under snow leopard. I just upgraded to Mountain Lion a couple of weeks back. for the last week, I have had boom cut back on the volume of my whole system. It is asking for the license/registration code, but will not accept it when I try to insert it in the provided window. I am therefore not able FULLY to use the sound of my computer. This is truly shabby treatment for a paid up customer. I need this to be fixed right away.
Please either give me instructions on how to remove BOOM forever from my computer or how to get it working properly again. I truly do not care which it is, so long as it is done QUICKLY.
SINCERELY,
Clyde Lindsay

Apologies for the inconvenience caused by Boom.
Regarding your query, the issue with OS X Mountain Lion has been fixed in Boom v1.5.1.
Please do update your copy of Boom to the latest.
As for troubleshooting, could you please uninstall Boom within the app i.e settings->preference->uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy.
While entering the registration code, please make sure that you copy and paste the entire 32 digit alpha numerical characters without any space either before or after the code.
