I have registration for BOOM.
I had I believe version 1.4 and when i was updating to 1.51 it gave me the installation screen saying "Preparing your Mac" but nothing happens. Then it says installation failed.
i tried a couple of times same results. I deleted the app, downloaded the trial(to unlock it with my licenses later) . Still no use.
I am using macbook 10.7.4 2Ghz 6GB RAM. Boom used to work just fine before the update, which never got to install

If you have purchased from Mac App Store then please re-install from App Store itself. Make sure that you use the same account which was used on purchase.
maybe you should have like a count down or make the installer quicker...it took sometime I thought it didn't work again I was going to quit on it when it said that installation was complete and the app now works
