Boom 2 Isn't working after installation

I just purchased Boom 2 for my MacBook Pro ''15 and the icon on the top menu next to volume isn't active; it's faded out. Every time I click on it, it opens up the menu box with file boost, settings, know more, etc. My sound preferences are all on Boom Device. It might still think that Boom Device was Boom 1 which I had before upgrading. What do I do to activate the new Boom?

I have exactly the same problem. Please fix that problem or tell us how to circumvent the problem!

Got it, you need to install the special driver when you purchased Boom2 over the App store. You can find it on the homepage.

Yes, you are right. You need to install the audio driver in order to access Boom 2 volume slider. Please refer below post for more info on the same.
