Hi,
I use a Belkin Thunderbolt dock with my Macboox Air. Prior to installing Boom2 when I connected to the dock and played music it would come out of the internal speakers.
After installing Boom2 I've found that when I connect to the dock and then play music I hear no sound from the Mac, it is being played out of the dock headphone port. I then have to go into the system Sound preferences and select 'Internal Speakers' for sound to play. The Boom2Device is always selected as the sound output device in system preferences which I suspect is by design.
Is is possible for Boom2 to not automatically route the sound through to the dock?
Cheers,
Simon

Boom switches automatically by itself when any audio output device is connected or removed from the system. As the dock does not have any speakers on it, you have to manually select internal speakers within System Preferences Sound.
We will note down the issue and our development team will be notified about the same.
Could you please let us know which version of Boom are you using? Do send us your system info and OS details.
I'm using Boom2 v1.1.2.
I'm using a Macbook Air Mid-2013 with OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
