Please fix RAM Boom 2 v1.1

I use Boom 2 v1.1

After update Boom uses a lot of RAM (sometimes it can be 2GB Ram).
I had to turn off the app to give resources for other applications.

Please fix issue, I will continue to use Boom.

    Thank you for providing us with the screenshot. Could you please provide us with the below details?

    - What will be memory usage on launch
    - Did you use Boom 2 for file boosting ?
    - Most used audio effect
    - Provide us with System info and OS details
    - Time since last boot
    - Does it help if you quit and relaunch Boom 2?

    I use Mac mini (Late 2012), Mac OSX 10.10.2 (14C109), Core i5 2.5 Ghz, RAM 8GB bus 1600

    Boom setting in attach, i don't use file bossting.
    I used for 30 minutes (5:20PM-5:50PM)

    I have encountered this problem many times since getting the new update. I tried to restart it several times, but the problem has not improved. I enjoyed using it, but now I can not continue, it takes up too much of my resources.

    Expects to get a fix.

    My Boom 2 also takes too much memory. Record is 11GB (yes, GigaBytes). There is definitely something buggy in this version.

    Using 15" MacBook Pro (Late 11) expanded to 16GB RAM with Yosemite 10.10.1 (14B25).

    Edit:
    - Not using file boosting
    - Not using any effects
    - Using only equalizer and sometimes sound boosting.
    - Its a laptop, so using sleep and hibernate mode mostly.
    - After Boom 2 reboot memory usage is around 90MB, but its only getting higher over time.

    At this state app is not really usefull. Please fix it. TIA.

    We have released an update for Boom 2 a few hours back. We suggest you update your copy of Boom 2 to the latest version and check if it helps.
  • Same issue after update. Boom 2 is slowly but successfully overriding free memory.

  • Ah, i think this time it was issue regarding system itself. After complete reboot (triggered by system update - 10.10.2) app is stable @45-50MB. My fault then :). Sorry
    Anyway thanks a lot for quick answer and fix :).
