I got the trial version of the Boom 2 & the trial period as expired, I want to delete/uninstall the app but no option for that, even from the setting/preference in the app.
I am tired of the app messing up my sound properties, Kindly advice on how to delete permanently please.
Hi, I had a registered version. I clicked the link highlighted in your screenshot, and it told me it was reverting to trial version (or words to that effect). How do I uninstall? I've deleted app and prefs file, but boom2device still shows up in sound prefs pane. Thanks for help. Ideally I'd like to make the app I bought to work, but it seems like I'm not alone in having issues with current version of Boom2 on Yosemite.

How do I uninstall the trial version? I cannot find the uninstall anywhere and I can no longer hear my sound. I only have Digital Out ... Optical Digital Out port or headphones but no internal sound anymore.
Took me ages but figured it out. You know the annoying pop up that ALWAYS appears, I clicked down the buttons on the left hand side of the pop up, the bottom was a cog/wheel. when i clicked the cog/wheel a right pointing arrow appeared at the bottom of the main window, i clicked that a few times, and an end screen with the itunes logo appeared, after a few seconds a button underneath that appeared that said "got that" or something similar, after clicking this button a red "uninstall button appeared on the bottom left.
I hope this makes sense, I'm not a particularly tech clever guy, just been trying to do this for weeks too.
At first, I thought this app was great. But then it suddenly made my music just sound like dog crap. I had a devil of a time uninstalling. Finally, it dawned on me to put it in my Mac's doc then told it not to turn on at log in. Logged out, and then I was able to trash the app from the Apps Folder. And than God, I was so upset with this "free" trial I was shaking with anger as I stomped around the house. This was quite the ordeal because I couldn't get the App to show itself as open and then couldn't trash because the app was still running. Guys, get your act together. Why does the app convert sound to heavily distorted underwater garbage with no warning and no way to control it?
