Boom 2 (v1.0.1) update stops Boom from working MacPro

I got the message from Boom 2 to update today and went and allowed the update to occur. However, once the update was done and I agree to the license, Boom no longer works. No menu, no audio enhancements, nada.

I deleted and reinstalled Boom 2 (v1.0) and it works properly.

Mid 2008 MacPro3,1, 2 x 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 16gb ram, OS X 10.10.1

Same here, updated and now no Boom interface at all. Same issue if I install fresh.

Problems here as well - may be related - but on my MacPro 5,1 the Boom2Device is selected as the output device but the sound comes out of my MacPro speaker not my Cinema Display.
