Boom 2 is already running, Quit the running Boom 2 app to continue.

Hi

I get this message at startup, and when I click OK, the computer starts without Boom 2 running, and I have to manually start it. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. I have Boom 2 checked to start at startup, but it won't. A popup says it's already running, but I still have to start it manually by clicking on it twice to open in the Finder window. What's the cure?

What you need to do is go into Activity Monitor and find the process running Boom 2, and Force Quit it. Then you can restart/reinstall/etc.
