Boom 2 is already running, Quit the running Boom 2 app to continue.

Hi

I get this message at startup, and when I click OK, the computer starts without Boom 2 running, and I have to manually start it. Any ideas?

  • I am having the same problem. I have Boom 2 checked to start at startup, but it won't. A popup says it's already running, but I still have to start it manually by clicking on it twice to open in the Finder window. What's the cure?
  • What you need to do is go into Activity Monitor and find the process running Boom 2, and Force Quit it. Then you can restart/reinstall/etc.
