Hi, thanks for your hard work on Boom and Boom 2. My wife and I live in central Africa and watch a lot of movies on my Mac, so a speaker-less solution to inadequate volume has been hugely helpful.
I just bought Boom 2. The new interface is beautiful, though I'm running into the same problem I've seen on a few threads: plugging in headphones or switching audio outputs isn't seamless. The workaround is going into system preferences and manually select the output device (e.g., external bluetooth speaker, headphones, etc.), but this is a pain, and I miss how easy the transition was with original Boom. I know you said this is a problem with OS X, but if there's anything else you can do from your end, we'd be very appreciative.
