I have uninstalled boom, but my sound preferences are still showing boom as an option. How do i completely remove boom? Is there a script you can provide?

Yes, I would like to know the same thing. Apps that don't offer instruction or tools to completely uninstall from your system are borderline spam.
  • Hi There

There's an option to 'Uninstall Boom' from the Boom app's Settings section. If you hit that button, it cleanly un-installs the app components.

If you download Boom (or Boom 2) again, please do follow the above method. That's the easiest way to do it.
  • I tried that...still there. Is there a link to install Boom (not boom 2) again? Maybe that is the problem. I tried to remove the components using the uninstall from Boom 2 not Boom.
  • Hi

Here's the Boom 1x page to download the previous version: http://www.globaldelight.com/boom-1/

And yes, Boom can uninstall only Boom audio component. Hope this helps.
  • That did it! Thanks.
