Boom causes loud static sound only out of left speaker when active

I use boom ALL the time! Today I opened it and a really loud static noise came from the left speaker. The speaker works fine and the sound only happens when Boom is on. I tried restarting the computer and uninstalling and reinstalling boom and still nothing. Any idea how to fix this?

I installed Boom and a really loud static noise came from the left speaker. Even when Boom is off, the left speaker doesn´t work well anymore. Could you please quit Boom and check if you get the same issue?
Boom works independently from the OS. Once Boom is quit or uninstalled from the system then it has nothing to do with the system sound.
The BoomDevice is the audio component that is installed on your system when you install Boom. This component helps in increasing the audio. When you play an audio/video on your system, the sound streams through the BoomDevice and to your speakers/headphones. You might also want to know that we have put the application under intense testing in different scenarios and we have not been able to see any possible damage to the speakers.

Even when I´d uninstalled Boom the problem has continued. Somehow, the software has damaged my left speaker and that is clear once my speakers were working perfectly before I had installed Boom. Please, give me some possibilites to fix my computer.
