If Boom isn't running, my computer doesn't have any sound at all.

Any ideas? Running Mavericks. Downloaded the boom trial version and now I can't get any audio at all if it's not running.

Hi Sraighterfaces,

When Boom is quit or uninstalled from the system, Boom has nothing to do with your system sound. Could you please check whether you see BoomDevice under System Preferences->Sound?
Also, could you please open 'Audio MIDI Setup' and check volume control levels under input and output. Please make sure to uncheck Mute.
Please check the same under System Sound Preferences.
