Boom V1.8 and Mavericks

edited November 2013 in Boom Discussions
Hi There,

Recently I've purchased Boom and followed the installation instructions (installed audio drivers for Mavericks, Itunes latest version is installed). The thing is I was very happy with the app until the sound has started to stutter occasionally. I'm using Google Music (I suppose it doesn't matter since the app affects main audio output) and every once in a while the sound's gone completely and it comes back after 1-2 seconds with a distorted sound then it becomes normal. Also today, it's gone completely and the app was crashed after 2 seconds of interruption.

I know it's not easy to keep the app updated for the latest changes but this app has a critical role on my computer and I hope you find out a way to fix it soon.

Best,
Mert

  • I forgot to mention that the reason of the interruption cannot be the internet connection issues since everything works properly if Boom is disabled.
  • Hi Mertdag,

Thank you for reporting your issues with Boom.
It would be really helpful if you could send us the entire crash report to our Support Team.
As for troubleshooting, could you please uninstall Boom within the app via Settings->Preferences->Uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy and check if it helps.
