Hi, I've seen other people saying that Boom isn't working but can be brought back to life when switching back and forwards between audio outputs. I've tried that but it didn't work. I'm running 10.8.4 Please help
The above sequence might help in different scenario regardless to the sound output device used. Our Support Team has got in touch with you via mail. Please let us know if you have any concerns or need further assistance.
First of all, Boom is getting in the way of my Sound Stick speakers. They disappear in my System Preferences when Boom is on after "sleep". If I restart, it all appears again, but that's a pain in the neck.
Second, I decided to buy Boom today after trying it out. My Credit Card was charged $5.99. When I was trying to determine what was going on with my Sound Sticks I discovered that Boom is being sold now for $3.99 rather than $6.99. Please refund $2.00.
@macantics, please get in touch with Boom Support Team and they'll help you out. We have been running Back To School promo from August-5 and will end on September-15. If you happened to buy Boom before that date or from some other outlet, then that price stays. Unless you send us an email with details, it would be difficult to do a one-on-one follow-up on certain matters.
I repeatedly download audio components and still can't get Boom to work with OSX 10.9 on a macbook pro. A previous version worked just fine. I recently trashed the old version and re-downloaded but still no success. The Boom icon is running but cannot use sound bar. It continues to tell me to download audio files which I have done 4 times. I could use some help please.
Mac App Store users facing issues with volume boosting, please follow these simple steps and update the audio component:
-> Open Boom's main interface and click on the 'Know More - Mac Volume' tab given on the bottom. -> Click on the 'Know More' button. This takes you to a page containing the latest audio component. -> Download the appropriate file and install it. This enables the system-wide volume booster feature. ->Once the installation completes, click on 'Done' in Boom window.
