Boom seem to crash/restart

edited October 2011 in Boom Discussions
After a couple of system sleep, the sound seem to "fade out" and come back during the playing of music, video, etc. After a fresh reboot, the problem disappear but after a while (sometimes, only one system sleep), the sound fades out and come back. It last about a second and it seem to happend randomly.

Hard to describe the bug, I know, but it's the best description I could come up with.

Running both a upgraded snow leopard -> Lion and a brand new Lion install.

  • I have similar issues... while playing from iTunes the audio briefly drops out and then comes right back. Was there an easy solution to this? I'm on a MacBook Air with OSX 10.7.4
  • Hi Partfurg,

Recently few users have reported about the audio fadeout issue in Boom. We have come up with an update fix which will be released soon. If you wish to be a part of beta testing, please write to our Support Team.
  • If you are still having this problem contact support for the beta fix. It fixed this and another issue for me.
