Boom for iPod and iPad?

edited August 2011 in Boom Discussions
I would hope that Boom will soon become available for the iPod and iPad. The volume on these two pieces of gear is extremely limited. Boom would be so very welcome to those of us who use these two items.

Anyone know if this will become available and if so when for these two items?

  • Hi jdgmar,

We believe our support team has helped you with your queries.
  • I believe I may have worded my request insufficiently....I would very much like to have Boom work with both the iPod and iPad and would like to know when Boom will work with these two products.

I was informed that you will consider looking into making Boom work with the iPad and Pod and that is GREAT and I very much would like to know when you have made Boom available for the above mentioned platforms. When this has occured please notify me at jdgmar@sbcglobal.net - THANK YOU for acting positively to this request.
  • plaese inform me when boom for ipad is available also. it seems that no one is able to use pandora on ipad with any eq app, i think its a licensing issue, because most apps out there record the strem. i dont know if boom records streams. i just wnt to have the great sound of boom on my ipad when seing youtube and listening to pandora. thank you. nelsonsandoval72@yahoo.com
  • on home page BOOM is featured as boosting ipod music.. but downloading seems to require lap/desktop 10.xxx. what am i missing?

not an ipod user, but ipad is a MUST. i would think this is a no-brainer?
just started using today and LUV. listen to lectures/spoken word. painful! now pleasure. upgrade for ipad. please, please, with sugar on top ( will personally deliver ice cream sundaes/with sugar on top/to entire staff -- promise).

also, are we meant to pay per box? or per single user?
    thanks from a fan
  • Just to follow up on this: I'm aware of the fact that a native iPad / iPhone app is probably difficult or impossible because of lack of low-level access to hardware on the iOS platform. But perhaps a strategic partnership of some sort with Apple? In my view, after hearing the difference that Boom makes on Mac OS X, Apple dropped the ball on audio for all three devices. All suffer from low volume and fairly poor sound quality.
  • Hey,

Boom is basically a Mac app, you cannot use it in iPhone or iPad BUT you can boost the audio and video files on your Mac and once done boosting then you can sync it to your iPhone and iPad.
